This inorganic terrazzo uses gray Portland cement as its binder, with a steady, medium-gray base. The surface is densely embedded with natural white and gray marble chips measuring 1 to 3 cm, arranged in an alternating pattern at high coverage, leaving almost no noticeable bare areas.

At 1 to 3 cm, these are medium-sized aggregates, comparable to common pebbles or walnuts. Crushed and screened directly from natural marble without further processing, each chip retains its original outline and texture: some edges are thick and blunt, while others carry thin, sharp fractures, with natural stone veining and subtle color variation visible on the surface. The white chips provide a soft brightening effect against the gray base, while the gray chips blend naturally into the background. Their dense interlacing creates rich tonal layering within a unified gray palette. From a distance, the floor reads like a weathered natural rock face, steady and continuous; only up close can you distinguish the boundaries and forms of individual chips.

As a cement-based product, the finished slab is dense and heavy, with hardness and compressive strength exceeding those of resin-based organic terrazzo. It withstands daily foot traffic in shopping malls, office buildings, and residential living rooms. However, cement is inherently porous. After installation, the surface must undergo crystallization sealing to block capillaries and prevent liquid penetration and staining. Periodic waxing is recommended after use begins; daily cleaning requires only a damp mop.

This gray-dominant surface, densely scattered with white and gray chips, is visually restrained and understated, never competing with other elements in a space. It is suitable for living room and dining room floors in modern homes, as well as for showrooms, office lobbies, and retail stores in commercial settings, blending naturally with various decorative styles. Large slabs can be cut to required dimensions on site, minimizing joints. After sealing, the surface is ready for normal use.
