This slab uses white Portland cement as its base, embedded with 3 to 5 cm natural jade chips. At this size, each piece is roughly egg- to fist-sized, sitting independently on the white cement ground like fixed pebbles.

Jade differs from ordinary marble. It is more mellow, with a greasy luster on the surface, and some pieces carry a degree of translucence. Under light it does not glare; instead the illumination diffuses softly. Natural jade ranges from white to bluish white, some carrying natural veining, others more pure. The cement holds them firmly in place. After grinding and polishing, the jade surface sits level with the cement plane, cool and smooth to the touch.

This is an inorganic, cement-based terrazzo. Once set, the cement is dense, the slab is heavy, and both hardness and compressive strength are sufficient. Laid as flooring, it withstands foot traffic and abrasion well. However, cement naturally has capillary pores. Without crystallization sealing, liquids can penetrate and leave stains. Therefore, crystallization treatment is required after installation, followed by periodic waxing. Daily cleaning requires only a damp mop; no elaborate maintenance is needed.

The pairing of a white base with large jade chips reads elegant and quiet, carrying the characteristic warmth of jade. It suits living rooms, entryways, and bathroom walls at home, as well as hotel lobbies, clubs, and exhibition halls in commercial spaces. Large slabs can be cut to site dimensions, though because the jade pieces are large, cutting must avoid the aggregate positions. With proper maintenance after laying, the surface retains its luster for a long time.
