This inorganic terrazzo uses white Portland cement as its base, embedded with natural marble fragments in three colors—red, green, and beige—each measuring between 1 and 5 cm. All three are tones commonly found in nature, standing out clearly against the white background without being jarring.

The aggregate is crushed directly from natural marble without artificial shaping, so each fragment varies in shape and thickness. Small 1 cm pieces alternate with larger 3–5 cm fragments, with the gaps between large pieces filled by smaller chips and cement paste. The red chips read warm, the green ones fresh, and the beige ones serve as a bridge between the two, balancing the palette. The three colors are scattered evenly across the white cement without a fixed pattern, giving the surface variation without clutter. After grinding and polishing, all aggregate sits level with the cement base, leaving the surface flat and even.

As an inorganic, cement-based terrazzo, the finished product is dense and heavy in the hand. Once set, the cement is hard, with good compression and wear resistance, suitable for high-traffic areas such as living rooms, corridors, and shopping malls. However, cement naturally has capillary pores. Without crystallization sealing, liquids can penetrate and leave stains. Therefore, crystallization treatment is required after installation, followed by periodic waxing to maintain surface sheen and stain resistance. Daily cleaning requires only a damp mop.

The palette of a white base with three natural stone colors is bright and layered. At home, it works for living room and dining room floors, as well as kitchen countertops and bathroom walls. In commercial spaces such as showrooms, retail stores, cafés, and children’s activity areas, it reads lively yet enduring. Large slabs can be cut to site dimensions, minimizing joints. Once laid and properly maintained, it is ready for normal use.
