This terrazzo uses white Portland cement as its base, plain and clean in color. The surface holds two types of aggregate: gray natural jade chips measuring 1 to 3 cm, numerous and densely packed; and fine black sand at about 0.5 cm, mixed into the gaps.

The gray jade is the main feature. Unlike ordinary marble, natural jade has a finer texture and a mellow surface luster—not a harsh shine, but more like a thin layer of oil. The 1–3 cm pieces are set into the white cement, looking from afar like gray beans scattered in rice porridge; up close, each piece carries its own sheen and subtle veining. The 0.5 cm black sand is finer, filling the spaces between the larger chips like sesame seeds on dough, grounding the lightness of the white and giving the overall surface a steadier feel.

It is an inorganic, cement-based terrazzo. Once the cement cures, the slab is heavy and dense, feeling noticeably harder underfoot than resin-based boards. It suits living rooms, corridors, and shopping malls. However, cement naturally absorbs water. If the surface is not sealed, water and oil stains can penetrate and become permanent. Therefore, crystallization treatment is mandatory after installation, followed by periodic waxing. Daily cleaning is simple—just wipe with a damp mop.

The palette of a white base with gray jade and black sand is clean yet steady. At home, it works for living room and dining room floors, as well as kitchen countertops and bathroom walls, with the white base brightening the space. In commercial settings such as showrooms, tea houses, clubs, and retail stores, it reads plain and textured. Large slabs are cut to site dimensions, minimizing joints, and last well with proper maintenance.

In plain terms, this is a cement-based terrazzo with a white base, gray jade chips, and fine black sand. It carries the mellow quality of jade and the solidity of cement, looking plain yet holding substance—provided that sealing and maintenance are not neglected.
