As fine as coarse salt, these grains are densely embedded in the cement. From a distance, the surface looks like a layer of compacted, wind-dried snow; up close, countless tiny grains catch the light with a faint reflective glimmer.

At 0.1 to 0.5 cm, the aggregate is extremely fine—smaller than a grain of rice—and quite different from typical chip terrazzo. The natural sand is screened to size, retaining original rounded or angular shapes. Each piece is unique, but because of the minute scale, the surface presents a delicate, uniform texture without the visual jumps of larger chips. White cement paste fills the spaces between the grains. After grinding and polishing, the surface is flat and smooth, with sand and cement sitting level. The touch carries a subtle, fine-grained texture but does not snag.

The finished product has a compact structure, with adequate hardness and wear resistance to withstand daily foot traffic and moving furniture without obvious marks. However, cement is inherently porous, so the surface requires sealing after installation to prevent liquid penetration. This nearly all-white surface is visually extremely clean. When light hits it, the fine sand produces a soft, diffused reflection, making spaces feel bright and quiet. It is suitable for residential living rooms and kitchen countertops, as well as commercial showrooms, retail stores, and office lobbies. Large slabs can be cut to required dimensions, minimizing joints. After basic treatment following installation, the surface is ready for use.
