MO-26 Yujianwhite

This is an inorganic, cement-based terrazzo with white Portland cement as its binder, the base reading as plain white. The surface is almost fully covered with natural white marble fragments measuring 1 to 5 cm, mixed with a small amount of natural jade fragments. Both materials are light in tone and do not stand out sharply against the white background, but up close you can detect the subtle textural differences between marble and jade.

These fragments are crushed directly from natural stone without artificial tumbling, so each piece retains its original, rough character. Some marble fragments still hold edges as sharp as a knife cut, while others have had their corners worn smooth through handling, becoming rounded and thick. The jade fragments are fewer in number but finer in texture, carrying a warm, greasy luster on the surface. Some are slightly translucent, revealing internal fine structure under light. Cement paste fills all gaps solidly. After grinding and polishing, the slab is like a compressed stone cake, flat and free of height variation, solid underfoot.

As an inorganic terrazzo, it relies on cement hardening to lock the stone in place. The finished product is very dense, noticeably heavier than resin-based boards in the hand. Once set, the cement is hard, with good compression and wear resistance, suitable for high-traffic areas such as living rooms, corridors, and shopping malls. However, cement naturally has capillary pores. Without crystallization sealing, water and oil stains can penetrate and leave permanent marks. Therefore, crystallization treatment is mandatory after installation, followed by periodic waxing to maintain the sheen. Daily cleaning requires only a damp mop.

This nearly all-white surface is quiet in tone. Because of the jade mixed in, it carries a warmth that ordinary pure white lacks. At home, it works for living room and dining room floors, as well as kitchen countertops and bathroom walls, brightening and opening up the space. In commercial settings such as showrooms, hotel lobbies, clubs, and brand stores, it reads clean and textured. Large slabs can be cut to site dimensions, minimizing joints. Once laid and properly maintained, it is ready for use.

In short, this is an inorganic terrazzo with a white cement base and densely packed white marble and jade fragments. It reads as plain from afar yet shows material variation up close. The surface is dense and flat, the hardness is high, and it suits spaces that want a bright, simple effect—provided that post-installation crystallization maintenance is not neglected.
