This is a cement-based inorganic terrazzo with a warm beige base, accented by only a small number of white mineral chips measuring about 1 cm each. Unlike surfaces densely packed with aggregate, most of this slab is clean beige cement, with the white chips appearing only occasionally—like coarse salt scattered on warm yellow fabric. Their sparse presence is just enough to break the monotony of a solid-color base.

The 1 cm chips are small, embedded in the beige cement. From a distance they nearly merge with the base, becoming visible only up close or when the light shifts. As mineral chips rather than marble, they carry no ornate natural veining, but their texture is more honest and plain, with edges retaining irregular shapes from natural crushing—some rounded, others slightly angular. The cement paste holds them firmly in place. After grinding and polishing, the surface is flat and smooth, with aggregate and cement sitting level without raised spots.

As an inorganic terrazzo bound by Portland cement, the finished slab is dense and hard, with higher compressive strength and wear resistance than resin-based organic terrazzo. It suits high-traffic areas such as living rooms, corridors, and shopping malls. However, cement naturally has capillary pores. Without crystallization sealing, liquids can penetrate and leave stains. Therefore, crystallization treatment is required after installation, followed by periodic waxing to maintain surface density and sheen. Daily cleaning is simple—just wipe with a damp mop.

This design of large open areas with sparse white accents makes the beige base the absolute protagonist. The overall feel is clean, warm, and quiet. In homes, it gives living rooms and dining rooms a bright, soft look. In commercial spaces such as hotel lobbies, showrooms, book cafés, and casual restaurants, it creates a calm, comfortable atmosphere. Large slabs can be cut to site dimensions, minimizing joints. Once laid and properly maintained, it is ready for normal use.
