ADE-12 Manaopink

This is an inorganic, cement-based terrazzo with a soft pink base, evenly embedded with natural marble chips in three colors—deep gray, red, and yellow—ranging from 0.5 cm to 3 cm. The three colors have distinct personalities: deep gray reads steady, red reads intense, and yellow reads bright. Scattered across the pink base and interlacing with one another, they give the surface variation without clutter.

The chips are crushed natural marble, irregular in form. Some edges are rounded by water erosion, while others retain the sharp angles from quarrying. The 0.5 cm chips mainly act as filler, densely packed between larger pieces; the 3 cm chips are more prominent, serving as visual pauses across the surface. The cement paste completely fills the gaps between aggregates. After grinding and polishing, the surface is a single flat plane without noticeable depressions or raised spots, feeling solid underfoot.

As an inorganic terrazzo, it uses ordinary Portland cement as the binder. The finished slab is dense and hard, with higher compressive strength and wear resistance than resin-based organic terrazzo. It suits high-traffic areas such as home living rooms and dining rooms, as well as commercial spaces like shopping malls and showrooms. However, cement naturally has capillary pores. Without a sealed surface, liquids can penetrate and leave stains. Therefore, crystallization treatment is usually required after installation, and periodic waxing is recommended to maintain surface density and sheen. Daily cleaning is simple—just wipe with a damp mop.

The warm pink base paired with deep gray, red, and yellow chips creates a rich, warm palette. It suits children’s rooms, bedrooms, and walk-in closets at home, as well as bathroom walls and vanity countertops. In commercial settings such as dessert shops, flower shops, women’s boutiques, and beauty salons, it creates an approachable, lively atmosphere. Large slabs can be cut to site dimensions, minimizing joints and providing good visual continuity over large areas.
