This inorganic terrazzo uses pink cement as its base, evenly embedded with natural red, white, and beige marble chips ranging from 0.3 cm to 3 cm—a considerable span. The fine pieces are as small as coarse sand, while the large ones are nearly walnut-sized. Mixed together, they give the surface areas of density and openness, keeping it from looking flat.

The 0.3 cm chips mainly act as filler, densely packed between the larger pieces and filling the gaps fairly full. The 3 cm chips serve as visual focal points, few in number but prominent in size. The red chips read warm and vivid, the white ones clean and bright, and the beige ones provide a soft transition. Set into the pink cement, the three colors create a warm, layered effect. Because the base itself is pink, the red chips blend in naturally, while the white and beige stand out more. Crushed natural marble retains irregular edges—some rounded, others still sharp from fracturing—with the stone’s natural texture remaining visible even after grinding.

It is a cement-based inorganic terrazzo, using Portland cement to bind the aggregate rather than resin. Once set, the slab is dense and hard, with stronger compression and wear resistance than organic terrazzo, suitable for high-traffic areas. However, cement has capillary pores, so without sealing, liquids can penetrate and leave stains. The finished surface therefore typically requires crystallization or waxing to form a protective film. Daily cleaning is handled with a damp mop, and with proper maintenance, the floor can last for many years.

This warm pink palette suits bedrooms, children’s rooms, walk-in closets, and bathroom walls, creating a soft, cozy atmosphere. In commercial spaces such as dessert shops, flower shops, beauty salons, and women’s boutiques, the approachable tone helps people relax. Large slabs can be cut to site dimensions, minimizing joints and providing good visual continuity over large areas.

After installation, crystallization treatment is recommended to improve surface density and sheen, followed by periodic waxing to keep the floor stain-resistant and easy to maintain.
