This inorganic terrazzo uses white Portland cement as its base, embedded with pure black natural marble fragments ranging from 1 to 5 cm. The white ground is clean and bright, while the black aggregate is heavy and eye-catching. The collision of these two extremes leaves the surface crisp and decisive.

The 1–5 cm span gives the aggregate clear variation in mass. Small pieces are fingernail-sized, while large ones approach half a fist. Crushed natural marble retains its raw roughness: some edges are worn smooth, others still hold sharp, fractured corners. These black fragments are evenly set into the white cement, looking from afar like ink drops on rice paper; up close, the natural veining and subtle luster of each stone are visible. Cement paste fills all voids. After grinding and polishing, the slab is a flat plane, with black aggregate and white cement sitting level. Walking is smooth, with no grooves to trap dust.

It is an inorganic, cement-based terrazzo. The binder is not resin but ordinary Portland cement. Once set, the slab is dense and heavy, with good hardness and compressive strength. Laid as flooring, it withstands foot traffic and abrasion in living rooms, corridors, and shopping malls. However, cement naturally has capillary pores. Without crystallization sealing, water and oil stains can penetrate and leave permanent marks. Therefore, crystallization treatment is mandatory after installation, followed by periodic waxing to maintain sheen. Daily cleaning requires only a damp mop.

The palette of a white base with large black fragments is strongly contrasting yet not flashy, leaning modern and minimalist. At home, it works for living room and dining room floors, as well as kitchen islands and bathroom walls. In commercial spaces such as showrooms, offices, retail stores, and art venues, it reads clean and powerful. Large slabs are cut to site dimensions; because the aggregate is large, cutting must avoid the stone positions. Once laid and properly maintained, it is ready for use.

In plain terms, this is a cement-based terrazzo with a white base and 1–5 cm black marble fragments. The surface is like ink on rice paper, the material is solid, and the hardness is high—but sealing and maintenance are essential.
