This terrazzo uses brown cement as its base, a color like old wood or fired clay—warm and heavy. Embedded within are deep gray natural marble chips measuring 1 to 3 cm, distributed fairly evenly. The chips are crushed from natural stone, irregular in shape: some edges are rounded, others still angular. The color ranges from deep gray to lighter shades. Set into the brown cement, they look from afar like gray-blue pebbles scattered on warm ground; up close, each piece shows its own natural veining.

A small number of beige marble chips are also scattered throughout. They are few, roughly the same size as the gray chips, but their warm tone provides a bright accent against the dominant brown-gray palette, preventing the surface from feeling too dull.

It is an inorganic, cement-based terrazzo, bound by Portland cement. Once set, the slab is dense and heavy in the hand, with hardness and compressive strength exceeding those of resin-based organic terrazzo. It suits high-traffic areas. However, cement naturally has capillary pores. Without crystallization sealing, water and oil stains can penetrate and leave marks. Therefore, crystallization treatment is mandatory after installation, followed by periodic waxing. Daily cleaning requires only a damp mop.

The palette of a brown base with deep gray chips and beige accents is steady and natural, carrying an earthy quality. At home, it works for living room and dining room floors, as well as kitchen countertops. In commercial spaces such as tea houses, cafés, showrooms, and guesthouse lobbies, the color is timeless and relaxing. Large slabs can be cut to site dimensions, minimizing joints. Once laid and properly maintained, it is ready for normal use.

In plain terms, this is a cement-based terrazzo with a brown base, deep gray marble chips, and occasional beige accents. The surface is dense, the tone is steady, and the hardness is high—but regular maintenance is essential.
