ADE-10 Crystalbeige

This is a cement-based inorganic terrazzo with a beige base and white natural marble chips measuring 0.5 to 3 cm distributed across the surface. The combination of beige and white is a warm, monochromatic pairing that looks clean and gentle without strong color clashes.

The chips range from 0.5 to 3 cm, creating a varied, uneven distribution. The smaller pieces are about fingernail-sized, while the larger ones approach the diameter of a ping-pong ball. Crushed natural marble retains irregular shapes—some edges rounded, others still angular. Scattered across the beige cement base, the white chips look from afar like coarse salt sprinkled on a warm canvas; up close, each piece shows its own natural veining and surface luster. Small chips fill the gaps between larger ones, and the cement paste fully fills the voids. After grinding and polishing, the surface is flat and dense without noticeable depressions.

As an inorganic terrazzo, it uses ordinary Portland cement as the binder. The finished product is dense and hard, with higher compressive strength and wear resistance than resin-based organic terrazzo, making it suitable for high-traffic public areas. However, cement has inherent capillary pores, so the surface requires sealing treatment, typically through crystallization or waxing, to improve stain resistance and sheen. Daily cleaning requires only a damp mop or neutral cleaner; regular maintenance extends service life.

This beige-and-white palette is versatile and fits various decorative styles. In homes, it works for living room, dining room, and corridor floors, as well as kitchen countertops and bathroom walls, with the warm tone making spaces feel cozy and bright. Commercial venues such as hotel lobbies, shopping centers, office buildings, and restaurants also commonly use this color scheme, as it is timeless and easy to match with furnishings. Large slabs can be cut to site dimensions, minimizing joints and creating good visual continuity over large areas.

During installation, inorganic terrazzo requires crystallization treatment after laying to achieve a denser, glossier surface. Periodic waxing is recommended afterward to maintain stain resistance and appearance.
