MA-43 Cranewhite

This organic terrazzo uses white resin as its base. The surface is densely covered with green and pink natural marble chips measuring about 1 cm, the two colors alternating in an even pattern. A small number of red natural marble chips, noticeably larger at 3–5 cm, are also embedded as visual focal points.

The 1 cm green and pink chips form the fundamental texture of the floor. Because they are uniform in size and evenly distributed, they create a dense field of colored dots from afar—green reading cool, pink reading warm, the two tones interlacing across the white base without either dominating. Up close, each chip retains the fractured face and natural veining of marble; some edges are smooth, others angular, each sitting independently in the resin yet relating to its neighbors.

The 3–5 cm red chips are few, scattered among the 1 cm chips. Their marked size difference makes them natural resting points for the eye. Red itself carries higher saturation, standing out against the light tones of green, pink, and white without clashing, serving to vary the rhythm of the surface. The resin fills all gaps between large and small aggregate completely. After grinding, every chip sits flush with the base plane—no raised bumps to catch the foot, the daily touch remaining even and smooth.

Material-wise, it is an organic terrazzo, using eco-friendly resin as the binder and formed by vacuum casting. The density of the resin gives the finished product low water absorption; liquids do not easily penetrate, so daily cleaning requires only a damp cloth or mop, with no additional maintenance regimen needed. The resin matrix carries a degree of elasticity, so edges resist chipping during cutting and installation, and the laid surface is unlikely to crack over time. Surface hardness withstands ordinary foot traffic in residential and commercial settings, with adequate wear resistance for general use.

The color palette leans fresh and natural. It suits flooring in living rooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms, as well as kitchen countertops and bathroom walls. In commercial contexts—dessert shops, flower shops, children’s spaces, and creative studios—it adds liveliness without heaviness, thanks to the white base. Large slabs can be cut to required dimensions, minimizing joints; after installation and basic cleaning, the surface is ready for use without lengthy curing.

A clean, bright white base, fine and even green and pink chips, occasional large red chips, stable material, and simple upkeep make this a refreshingly practical resin terrazzo product.
